Connection Problems?

This site has always been very fast and responsive for me until last weekend. I surf this site using the "what's new" button and the search always loads very fast. However, whenever I click on a thread I want to read, it takes forever to load. Sometimes I can get it to load by continually hitting refresh, other times not, and give up and go somewhere else. This is happening in both Firefox (4) and IE 8.

The weird thing is, I'm having similar problems on Llamedos but not as severe as here. All mainstream websites are running normal. I have a very consistent 5mbps connection from Comcast and my machine is brand new and on a hardwired line. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue?
