Can't say I had any problems.
Can you ID the malware or virus?
Generic exploit script - you likely won't notice anything is wrong. My Kaspersky AV software found it. Criticality is "High", and listed as "infected". It looks like this thing opened the door to 2 other trojans in short order, 2 trojan downloader scripts that were not present until after visiting the link on the original thread. That you haven't noticed anything is in large part, the whole point of these trojans.
http://i52.tinypic.com/wbarz7.pngLook at the 3 dated 10/15, and note the times -it took only a few seconds for the 2nd and 3rd trojans to be downloaded after
the first one got in. Note the URLS.
I read that MORNING MONEY item & printed a copy off to give to a friend. Computer seems ok so far.
I am not detecting anything, but I'm using MSE. I also checked the site www.moneymorning.com using the ff. but found no problems: McAfee Site Advisor, McAfee Trusted Source, Google Safe Browsing, URLVoid (which uses around 20 other sites to check), VirusTotal (uses more than ten other sites), AVG Online Web Scanner, Trend Micro Site Safety Center, Web of Trust, F-Secure, Online Link Scan, and Norton Safe Web.
Kaspersky has a support page where users can send a report.
Finally, I clear the browser cache and use non-real time scanners to check the PC first, like Malware Bytes, as well as free online scanners from various companies.
I thought you meant the thread itself infected your computer. Which is damn near impossible.
I see now you mean the link.
Just to be safe I deleted the thread (can bring it back if needed).
Had me worried for a second.
