    Where did my mushrooms go?

LOL... nowhere. They are in the same place they aways were. Lover left... called mushrooms.

I just changed the forums to the default for a couple of reasons.

1.) the mushrooms is high bandwidth and I have heard from a couple of people that its a bit slow for them. And rather than explain to everyone how to go to the default, I figure it would easier for those that want the mushrooms back to go get them.

2.) The mushrooms theme still has some oddities. Working on it. Been a bit buried. Am trying though.

Also, I will be setting up a couple of dark themes for our night owls. Again just a time issue... as well as getting some of the same navigation niceties I programmed on the other site.

    Perhaps this weekend.

In the meantime... dont panic. The shrooms will be there for those that are in the mood for them and have the bandwidth :-)

more to come. Thanks for everyone's participation.
    more stuff coming.
    Alex

I didn't panic, but I definitely want the doom skins!
I need a CLEAR visual clue as to which forum I am reading.
Easier to sift it through the emotional grid that way. . .

First SixGun, now you. I guess it is good training to remove the startle reflex from seeing a gun point AT YOU!

So I'll just get out my water pistol and shoot back at you!

oddly enough BSC living in an open carry state causes one to not be shocked when you walk into subway to get a sandwich and the three guys ahead of you are all wearing guns and none of them have a badge

Oh, I don't mind seeing the guns, I heard we have open carry here as well. It's just that when on a range, everyone is so careful to not point any firearms in a direction other than down range. To see one pointed DIRECTLY at ones FACE, now THAT is a pucker factor of 9.7

Interesting point. I can tell you from experience that having training, or being exposed to someone shooting AT you is a big advantage when it comes to self defense. Too many people who have never been on that end of the gun freeze up. Deer in the headlights. I am still amazed when I see people training to shoot well for self defense will tell you they have never been shot at or on that end of the equation.

They are just as likely to be a running sandbag as the non-carrier.

    But that is another thread.

Having the forum with the default mushrooms might make it hard for people looking at the forum at work (not that anyone would think to that of course..... )
this doesn't apply to me as I'm self employed but I can see it would effect some people.

I like the mushrooms by the way
