    Monday's Outage

Sorry bout that folks. We spent all day chasing some SQL corruption around in another forum (not silco). But as a result we were forced to move to the new server ahead of schedule as the other forums would not restore on the old server. just too damn big.

That mean all the forums had to take a cat nap for an hour or so while we migrated over.

That's done and we shouldnt see anything other than a minor blip here and there while we make sure the server is doing everything the way it ought to.
    :-)

    Thanks.

I'm really glad you know what you're doing and I'm gladder that you do it for all of us slackers here. Thanks again.

I always wonder how you manage all this work with servers with such a short outage!

Please accept my thanks as well!
It is only slightly disappointing that I was in the middle of constructing a rational, erudite, witty and to the point response on the "Farm Thieves" thread which has apparently disappeared into the ether...............................

Yeah, but it's a moot point as to whether I would provide 'em!!!

Another thanks for the forum and I just discovered, the 'Ignore' option , that actually makes a big difference if someone is particularily disturbing. They can blather on all they like and I take it they have no idea that they have no audience if they are 'Ignored' ? Perfect.

Alex lives in the "silent country" where the stars don't talk to him and tell him what to do.
