Searching

Some of you may have noticed the search results were not returning a full set of results. Apparently in the recovery last week, one of the casualties was the search index.

The symptom was not finding any matches prior to the crash, even though the threads were still there.

It's fixed. I just rebuilt the search index on all 22,000+ posts and it's working a-ok.

If you didnt notice it, then no harm. If you did, you will find it all better :-)

In addition, the disaster RSS feed is again working in the news subforum. You should be able to see them if you go directly but they should not clutter up your search in today's posts, or what's new.

Please let me know if you are seeing them there and should not be.
