Is set to guest. And for the life of me I cant figure out why.
It was not done intentionally. It appears to be related to the data issue we had a couple hours ago. I am running all the recovery stuff I can to try and recreate the profile but so far no luck.

If anyone hears from him, please let him know the story. i have tried to email him as well.

this is a first on me. Have never seen an account just get eaten like that.

Worst case is that I create a new account for him, but trying everything to get his posts back and associated with his name.

lol funny... I just crawled through the raw SQL data.. and COMRAD is not there, nor is any messed up name that would be his.
His damn accoutn was deleted as fully as is I deleted it in the admin.

Comrade simba here - I created "billjac" to sneak in and find out why (I thought) I got booted from the forum. Turns out it is something that has never happened to Alex. Hmmmmm. move this fucker over to tinfoil - the NSA is on my ass?

If this is an explainable glitch and comrade simba can't be resuscitated I'll create "the comrade" and stay on the board. If it can't be explained I'm outta cyberspace for good.

I just spent an hour rebuilding Simba' account from scratch.
I created a new Comrade Simba account.

Then I went through the database and edited each of the 309 posts from the
old account, one by one and re-associated them with the new account.
Whew

I think this will actually work.

I have never seen this before but felt like a shit so I rebuilt everything by hand.

Sent you an email CS... please login and post here to let me know it worked.

I don't take being deleted lightly. Haven't seen any red cars go by though, bwahahaha!

no your account was not compromised CS. I just discovered that while the anomaly here was your account, on my fishing forums, they lost a whole forum section. 12,000+ posts.
I had to write a SQL query to go re associated all the orphans to a new forum we created. Same as yours, though I did yours by hand because I didnt want to go the code route if I didnt have to.

So dont sweat it. Sorry for the drama.

My deletion is fishy? Is that the message? Are the spooky ones saying we can disappear you in the flesh just as easily as whacking you in a forum?
