Seems OK to me.
It only seems to be happening when using the auto-refresh function. I don' know why. Was working good about 1/2 hour ago. It just started.

Reboot
I closed Firefox and reopened it. No difference. The rest of the javascript on this site works fine, and on other sites. The problem in on the server side.
Edited to say that I gave Alex the benefit of the doubt and rebooted. No difference. Still get a search page on auto-refresh but works good on "What's new?" or "New Posts".

I cleared my cookies and it's back to normal, but in the two years I've been here I never had to do that before. Just a fluke, I guess.

Short answer - yes!
Taking a long time to load, not scrolling smoothly, sometimes get a message saying the server had to 'reset' - been happening for the last two days.....

I have actually reset the server about 4 times in the past 2 days - as i change settings the only way for them to take effect is to restart...
A restart takes about 20 seconds round trip (just enough time to quit apache and reboot it).
But other than that and Portal's cookie issue (which usually just means the cookie time stamp gets toasted) I havent seen any other issues, and I am alway monitoring the damn thing :-P

The server was really slowwwww this morning. Seems better now.

we have a full backup routine that runs every morning around 6am I believe. That definitely will slow the server while it runs. Would have been around that time?

My problem started right after I entered a reply to dandelion about how easy it was to make cellphone detonators for explosives. I said, "Aw shit! The DHS is screwing with me." Really bad timing!

And it seems to load in segments - never seen that before.
Of course, if no-one else has a prob, could be at my end.....
